Willys was a brand name used by Willy-Overland Motors which was an American automobile company best known for its design and production of military and civilian Jeeps. In 1926 they introduced a new line of cars named the Willys-Overland Whippet. The Whippet Touring is a 4 door tourer body style with a front located engine driving through the rear wheels. It is equipped with a side valve 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine with 2 valves per cylinder that produces 40 hp. The engine transmits power to the 10 bolt rear end with a 3 speed manual transmission. This particular example retains its original drivetrain, body and interior which have not been altered in any way. The valves were modified to handle unleaded gas and it now has an electric fuel pump. Other than that nothing else has been changed. With the exception of the windshield wipers everything is working as it should and the car is a blast to drive. We have priced it aggressively so if you like what you see you better get in touch with us before it’s too late! SOLD
