Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer an immaculate 1950 Willys Jeepster. In 1908, John North Willys purchased the Overland Automotive Company based out of Indianapolis Indiana. Within a year's time, the company was renamed Willys-Overland and by 1912 they had become America's second largest car producer, following Ford. Willys biggest accomplishment was the mass production of military Jeeps for the war in which they manufactured approximately 360,000 Jeepsters! While the late 1940's had Willys occupied with building military Jeeps, Willys re-introduced the Jeepster to the public in 1948. For 1950, the Willys was the recipient of revamped styling and also carried the new 4-cylinder engine under the hood. This specific 1950 Willys Jeepster received a full, frame off, Concourse styling restoration. This 1950's Willys Jeepster is packing the newly introduced 2.2 Liter Inline-4 Cylinder motor which provides plenty of scoot for this Jeepster to move around town. The 4-Cylinder is paired to a 3-Speed Manual
