I bought this 1972 P1800 ES about a year ago in order to fix it up and drive . I did not have the time an did not start on the project
It is now current in registration (non op) and comes with a clear Title in my wife's name.
The car is in running and driving condition, the brakes are functional and most electrical works.
Milage 89500
It runs very rich and the idle is uneven.
It is fuel injected and has an automatic transmission.
The car is unmolested and original, including the tool kit and the jack.
Complete with the following 2 parts missing.
The inner door panel on the passenger side door.
Louvre on the rear quarter panel on the passenger side (see photo).
Interior
Dashboard cracked in several places. Front seats ,torn vinyl.
Carpet all there but shows wear at the foot area.
vinyl headliner intact, so are the rear seats and the loading bay.
Instruments are intact and working excluding the tachometer.
Body
I believe the car shows the original paint job, touched up over the years.
All the factory tags are there.
It has a long dented scratch on drivers side and a large rust hole on drivers side outer sill. Also has other rust spots at rear valance and the drivers side foot well.
All in all not too bad.
I don't think the inner sills, wheel wells or any structural pieces are affected by rust but i may remove glued and other hidden parts to inspect for possible rust for a potential buyer, who is ready to buy the car.
I am looking for a fair offer from a Volvo enthusiast.
The car is in Oxnard CA SOLD
