1969 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia 

1969 Karmann Ghia Volkswagen. Mechanical - Rebuilt early 70s 1600 Dual Port with new heat exchangers, alternator conversion. Replaced clutch. Brakes - replaced all steel lines and rubber hoses, master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders, pads and shoes, turned rotors and drums. Front end - replaced tie rod ends. Tires replaced. Transmission occasionally jumps out of reverse, usually in cold weather. The above mechanical work has around 10,000 miles on it. The body parts and interior look mostly original. The car was equipped with air conditioning but most parts are missing. It now has an Espar aftermarket gas heater. The body is rusty but the floors, doors and nose appear o.k. The doors and windows work good. The lights and electrical work and has aftermarket gauges. Basically it is a road worthy car that needs restored.
