1966 VW Bug -- Pearl White w/Pigalle Red interior. Professionally rebuilt 1600cc engine (9/13) with approx. 1500 miles since rebuild. The original California owner owned the car for it's first 37 years. The original black and yellow plates go with the car. This is a beautiful little bug that turns heads and gathers smiles everywhere it goes. It won one of the five People's Choice awards at the Albuquerque Busses & Balloons car show last October. This little car runs and looks great. Per the Hagerty Classic Car website condition descriptions, it is between a Condition 2 and 3 which would give it a value of approximately $10,900 (not much would be needed to make it a solid Condition 2).
The NADA Guides Classic Car Value for a 1966 VW Bug -- Average Retail is $9,200. High Retail is $19,200. Selling price is $8975.
