I am attempting to sell this car because I cannot bear to see it crushed, although I am alright with it being parted out. The car is rare and blue books for over $2000 in poor condition, it is not in the best cosmetic shape but it was a great little car with very few issues and with only 4 cylinders it got great gas mileage and was east to work on. It's a great daily driver that would be a great work car, the seats fold flat so it is excellent for hauling and I have made many road trips in it without issue. The car comes with the owners manual as well as the original 1984 Toyota repair manual. As much as I love this car and would like to keep it, the transmission went out this winter and I don't have the time or space to deal with it. The car runs but does not drive and I need to free up some space and any reasonable offer will be considered.
It's the second generation of the Camry and comes almost entirely with factory parts including the stereo and wheels. I have owned it for 3 years and have replaced the alternator, battery and windshield this fall as well as the front tie rod ends, rear drum brakes and starter.
The body itself is in decent condition besides the damage to the front end and fender and the hood also has some dents and the paint job is 30 years old. Any trim that is missing (including the lower fender), besides the side marker cover is included just not attached. The inside could use some cleaning but is almost entirely intact including the trunk cover for the hatchback. There are some issues with the power windows but they all operate. and the stereo has a missing button but works fine although some of the speakers could use some work and the cassette player won't play cassettes but I use a cassette adapter for my mp3 player and it work fine for that.
