1989 Renault 5 GT Turbo

This car is in Nassau, The Bahamas. I originally
shipped it over from the UK roughly 14 years ago.
Since then I have had it re-sprayed in a dark
metallic blue. Additionally I had the seats
recovered. The car is in reasonable condition for
it's age and still looks sharp. It is a hoot to
drive, as it benefits from a 1.4L turbo charged
engine and weighs next to nothing. There are
numerous sensible upgrades, such as silicone
coolant and intercooler piping, a larger and full
aluminum intercooler, upgraded turbo. It has disc
brakes all round. There is some rust and the
engine has a slight knock, which would be easily
rectified by an enthusiast. Unfortunately I don't
have the time to work on the car myself anymore,
and the skill level of mechanics and workshops
here are not adequate to bring the car to it's
former glory.
I am open to offers. Any buyer would have to ship
the car, which I would be happy to assist in the
logistics.
