1954 Porsche A-133 Tractor

We are excited to offer on behalf of one of our clients this rare and passionately restored 1954 Porsche Tractor A133.

For many years, 2shores has been offering selected, finest grade examples of collectible vehicles. This rare, Porsche tractor is one of those examples!

The Porsche A 133 is a tractor manufactured by Porsche-Diesel Motorenbau GmbH, which was based in Friedrichshafen and took over tractor production from the Allgaier factory from 1956 to 1957, with around 2,200 examples of the tractor model being produced. The Porsche A 133 was the predecessor of the Porsche Super 308.
The Porsche tractor was characterized by its particularly powerful three-cylinder engine, while other tractor models were still powered by a steam engine. The air-cooled engine of the Porsche tractor was designed in a tunnel design and was therefore a technical innovation on the tractor market. The three-cylinder diesel engine had 33 hp at a rated speed of 2000 rpm. The engine also had three PTO shafts, two of which were located at the rear of the tractor and were part of the standard equipment.
The Porsche A 133 had a total of five forward gears, with which speeds of up to 28.7 km/h could be achieved, depending on the tires on the rear wheel. Furthermore, the tractor had a reverse gear and a crawler gear. The rear wheel was used with a geared PTO and a ground PTO to drive the Porsche tractor. In addition, the separately switched front PTO shaft of the Porsche diesel A 133 was used for the mower. The axle load was 600 kg on the front axle and up to 1025 kg on the rear axle. Both rear wheels have internal brake shoes and can also be operated as single wheel brakes. The Porsche tractor also had a modern electric starter.

Our example on offer is a 1954 Porsche model A133 which has been passionately restored in Denmark just a few years ago. Finished in correct orange, this tractor looks fantastic and is 100% correct and fully operational. It has found its way to a California Porsche collector 2 years ago and is currently being used as a showpiece.

The tractor comes with extensive documentation of the restoration and its complete history. Original manuals and period articles are included in the sale. The tractor runs and works fantastic and could be put to work or continue to be shown in parades and shows.

A truly iconic and rare Porsche tractor in collector condition. Very hard to find and impossible to be duplicated for the asking price.
