Since its introduction in 1963 the 911 has been Porsche’s flagship vehicle which was manufactured in Stuttgart, Germany as a rear engine two door sports car with an independent rear suspension and a very distinctive design. Throughout its life span it has been modified by private teams as well as the factory for racing, rallying and other forms of automotive competition and is among one of the most successful competition cars ever. In 1978 Porsche introduced the new version of the 911 called the 911SC. It featured a 3.0L aluminum engine with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and a 5-speed 915 transmission. The move to an aluminum engine was to regain case reliability, something missing for many years with magnesium. This particular example is a 2 owner car purchased by the current owner in 1995 who is only responsible for 8,000 of the 135,927 miles it currently has in the past 27 years. This car is completely original including its Fuchs 16” wheels and original interior with the exception of an upgraded Alpine Bluetooth stereo and speakers. Upgrades include a Whale Tail painted in its original color of Grand Prix White that looks stunning, stainless steel exhaust system, new battery and tires a couple of years ago. It is hard to believe this car is 40+ years old when looking at it. If you could see yourself cruising in this beauty don’t wait to call as it might be too late. SOLD
