1987 Porsche 911

As these 911's are becoming more popular, the 1980's Carrera is the most popular. These cars are rapidly appreciating classics and are reliable enough where they can be driven daily. The have great driving character as well as being somewhat practice. Small children can fit in the rear seats and the luggage compartment has enough room for sizable soft luggage. By the late 1980's Porsche introduced the G50 transmission. This new gearbox made the cars much easier to drive. The gears became closer together and they shifted with incredible smoothness and accuracy compared to the previous setup.

The Grand Prix White Cabriolet has always lived in Florida. It's a two owned car, however the second owner only owned it for a couple of months. After purchasing he realized it didn't fit in his lifestyle. When we were offered this Carrera, we quickly purchased it after a careful inspection. The paint on it is believed to be original. We do not see any evidence of paintwork to be found anywhere. As with all of our Porsches, we have KMW Motorsports in Boca Raton inspect and service the car. They confirmed there is no evident of paintwork. We also had them perform a compression test since we are absent of a service history. The results of the compression test are available upon request. All of the numbers are where they should be. Any work that needed to be performed we had done to insure a safe and reliable experience for its new owner. Every function in the car works as it should.

We are proud to report that the engine is dry. There are no leaks and of course the floor under the car is dry. There is no smoke on startup and the engine revs freely to redline. Shifting is precise and the car is solid and stable. It's an absolute thrill to drive. With the exception of a couple of trim items, radio, and the top, this is a highly original car. The top was recently replaced and is in impeccable condition with a clear rear window. As expected, a convertible boot accompanies the car.
