The Pontiac Trans Am Front End Was Restyled In 1979. It Also Marked The 10th Anniversary Of The Trans Am. The 1979 Firebird Was The Most Popular In Its History; A Record That Would Never Be Broken By Any Other Firebird. This Was Due, In Part, To Its Continuing Popularity From The Movie “Smokey and the Bandit”.
