This is a BEAUTIFUL 55 Pontiac !!! Turquoise & cream. Prefer to trade but will sell outright for $14,500.00. I like 50's & 60's cars & MOPAR muscle. No bikes, trucks or race cars. Odometer shows 83K & I have no doubt it is correct....Undercariage is spotless...no rust at all. New tinted windshield & all glass is good. The matching #'s 287 V8 & 4 speed automatic perform flawlessly & I would not hesitate to go coast to coast. It idles so smooth & quiet you will be tempted to try to re start it at a stop sign. Power Steering & new Power brakes. Steering is tight & sure. New tires & muffler. Mechanically it is just about perfect, even the original vaccum wipers work like new. All the gages work as well as the lights...even the indian head hood ornament (new amber insert). Starts 1st time , every time. Runs, drives, handles , shifts, & stops like new, no rattles, bumps or squeeks. Rides like a dream...nice & quiet so you can carry on a conversation. Interior is a newer combo of vinyl & cloth but looks like original pattern, carpet & vinyl headliner good. Has rare tissue dispenser with indian head insignia. could use new door welting in front, otherwise interior is perfect. Doors close with one finger. The paint is very shiny as you can see. This is a DRIVER so there are the usual minor imperfections in the paint. You've heard the expression a 10 or 20 footer?? This is a 3 footer!!! The body is very straight with proper body gaps...a few parking lot dings don't detract much from the overall beauty. Chrome & stainless are VERY nice with very minor pitting in pot metal. Top of the line Star Chief trim including the stainless skirts. You will NOT be dissapointed when you become the new owner! I would & do show the car ocasionally, usually trophies in original class, you will never be embarrassed or have to make excuses. Drive this car till you drop. A steal at $14,500.00.. 40 Photos available including underneath. Bruce Texas 806 787 4742SOLD
