Offered for sale is a very rare and desirable car that you won't see anywhere else on the road. Pontiac Pathfinders were manufactured in Canada on a Chevrolet chassis and were not made anymore after 1958. So while this car shares the Pontiac name with the US Safari model it is not the same vehicle. And 1957 Safari's in good condition are considered rare but their production numbered 2934 that year and the Pathfinder 2 dr. wagon was less than 800. I have never seen another windowed one with the one piece liftgate either which adds to the rarity of this car. Go ahead and Google around and you will find out how rare this vehicle is!
The car was mildly rodded a number of years ago. A 327 ci was installed, headers, air conditioning and rebuilt interior to name a few of the mods which were all tastefully done without compromising the original flavor of the car. The brakes were redone last fall. The paint is original and not the greatest but there is only some surface rust on the vehicle and no rot. There is also a louvered hood that comes with the car that is in great shape also.
This is not a show winner but wouldn't take alot to become one. But for sure it gets the thumbs up on the road and you will spend alot of time explaining about it anywhere it is parked.SOLD
