1956 Pontiac Laurentian Two Door Hardtop, this car was frame off restored in the mid 90's and still presents very nicely. When it was restored it received new paint, new interior, all stainless polished, and all chrome replated, rebuilt engine, and new stainless exhaust system among many other things. This is a fairly rare car, only approximately 700 of this model where ever built, and many less remain today. The Laurentian was a Canadian only Pontiac built on a 1956 Chevrolet chassis, so it has Chevrolet running gear with Pontiac symbols on it. Also the Laurentian is almost a foot shorter than the American Pontiacs. The car has its original numbers matching 265 V8 with power pack option (4-barrell carburetor and dual exhaust). Automatic two-speed transmission, heater, radio, clock, fender skirts, full disc hubcaps, wide whitewall tires. Everything was restored to factory specifications with the exception of the paint and stainless exhaust with glass pack mufflers. 93,000 original miles. Health forces collector to downsize, just reduced from $19,500 SOLD
