The full-size convertible is alive and well with this uncommon Pontiac, offered for sale by Blue Marlin Motors USA!
The Grand Ville was the top of the Pontiac range. The convertible was nearly a unicorn though. Only 4,500 of these cars were built in 1975, and it’s a real shame. Sit in the white leather bench seat and grip the steering wheel and you can tell you’re driving a car that more people should be able to experience.
The large convertible roof is power operated and goes down at the flip of a switch. You can cover the top when it’s down with the parade boot to have a car that looks just as smooth whether the top is up or down.
This car is in fantastic condition. It has had one repaint in its life, in its original color. The odometer shows 53,351 miles. The 400 cubic inch V8 runs smoothly and starts with no trouble, and it’s mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Put it in drive and enjoy the open road and the open air in style. This car is also equipped with power windows (which were standard equipment), making it a breeze to drive comfortably in all weather conditions. The air conditioning (factory, by the way) has been converted to R134a as well.
These cars came loaded to the brim, because 1975 was the final year of production. Here’s your chance to have a throwback in time and drive the last of a fondly remembered beast – the full size convertible.
Give us a call or come see it here in person at Blue Marlin Motors USA! Remember – we finance classic cars!
