The Grand Prix was introduced by Pontiac as a luxury performance automobile in 1962. John DeLorean contributed to the development of this car which replaced the Ventura. The standard engine was the Bonneville's 303 hp 389 cu in V8 with a four-barrel carburetor and dual exhausts. In 1965 the Grand Prix was completely restyled with more rounded body lines, a longer wheelbase and a concave rear window more rounded than its predecessor. The interior was revised with all-new instrument panels featuring more walnut trim which now extended to the center console, a new steering wheel with horn bars and the engine horsepower was increased to 325 hp with the automatic transmission. This particular example is optioned with the 3 speed turbo hydra-matic transmission and ice cold auto A/C (just rebuilt). It is completely original with the exception of the tires and battery. Not only that but it has 37,850 original miles, it is completely numbers matching and it is PHS certified. It was repainted in its original color of Cameo Ivory a few years back and it still shows great. It has been serviced regularly and can be driven anywhere without a concern. If you have been looking at similar cars you will be hard pressed to find one in this condition with such low mileage for the price we are asking. If you could see yourself cruising in this beauty don’t wait until it’s too late to call! For more pictures and a video of the engine visit: www.HotRodsChoppers.com! SOLD
