For sale is a privately owned, original 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix, 2 door sports coupe (1st Generation). This stock antique is a 100% complete turn-key, recently serviced and is antique registered. I hate to see her go, but it’s time to rotate stock in my collection. Must see in person and drive to truly appreciate this antique!
I have the clean title in-hand, exempt status, garage kept, non-smoker and no pets. The 389ci V8 engine and 3spd automatic Hydra-matic transmission has 51k original miles! New Hankook P205/75/R14’s on the original rally wheels, front shocks, tranny seals and fluid, wheel bearings and seals, rear brake line/hose and fluid, cut rear drums, fresh gear oil, battery, sparks plugs/wires, valve cover gasket, drive belts, points condenser, radiator hoses, power supply, wiper blades, dimmer switch and dome light. Chassis, suspension, body, running boards, door jambs, chrome, door panels, and carpeting are all in great shape. Has all original badges, identification plates and comes with original jack and a full sized spare. This car is fun to drive and gets tons of attention!
I’ve invested around $3K worth of repairs since purchased but still has some small imperfections. The driver’s seats has rips but the rest are fine, heater fan not working, A/C system all there but does not blow cold air, may just need system charged. Car has minor surface rust on undercarriage, under the hood and trunk, on bumpers but no heavy rust or rot anywhere. Steering wheel plastic is cracked, dashboard has cracks, windshield sprayer pump does not work, 3 holes in the headliner and there is a paint scuff on the driver side door and rear quarter panel. These are all minor repairs which just need some tlc to make this car perfect.
Overall good original condition for its age and low original miles; fully restored are selling for around $25k+.
