The Firebird was built by Pontiac between 1967 and 2002. The first generation Firebirds (67-69) had a characteristic Coke bottle styling. The second generation Firebirds (70-81) replaced the Coke bottle styling with a more swoopy body style, with the top of the rear window line going almost straight down to the lip of the trunk. A distinctive, slant-nose facelift occurred in 1977. Changes for 1978 were slight, with a switch from a honeycomb to a crosshatch pattern grille being the most obvious from the outside. This particular example is a one family car with 30,376 original miles. It was professionally repainted approximately 20 years ago in its original color of Martinique Blue that still shows great. It was factory optioned with a 400 ci V8, a T-400 Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission, power brakes and air conditioning. With the exception of normal wear items this car is 100% original. It has been serviced regularly and everything is working as it should. We would consider this to be an above average car and would conservatively appraise it at $30,812.50. We know this is a buyer’s market and have priced it accordingly. If you could see yourself cruising the streets in this sweet ride you better pick up the phone before it’s gone! SOLD
