Out of Bob Jensen's personal collection, presenting his pride and joy. A highly optioned, very rare Catalina 2+2. This beauty has undergone an extensive two-year restoration. Body has been stripped down, extensively block sanded and finished in Raven Black. All stainless and brightwork was restored to its current ‘better than new’ luster and brilliance. The interior is original and is very close to perfect except for the carpeting, which was upgraded to Daytona Weave over new Dynamat, as well as custom made floor mats to match. Custom grille inserts have been added along with the updating of the Halo headlights. The car rides on an upgraded air ride suspension package provided by Ride Tech. The brains controlling the digital air ride have been neatly tucked away in the trunk with the use of custom made trunk lining panels. The durable original radiator has been boiled, leak tested and painted. The gas tank has been boiled, tested and lined with special tank sealer. New wheel studs, brakes and calipers with new hoses and stainless brake lines supplying the fluid. New stainless fuel lines supplies fuel to the numbers matching 428 CI engine with the help of a new Edelbrock fuel pump. The engine has been removed, torn down and resealed. Included and added to the engine is a new performance package that includes the reconditioned original heads, camshaft, timing set, lifters, intake manifold and carburetor all provided by Edelbrock. Relieving the engine is a new custom exhaust system including Magnaflow mufflers and full flow factory style headers provided by RamAir. The engine comes to life with the help of a new gear reduction mini starter, MSD fully electronic distributor, and MSD street fire wires which were made to proper length. The car is rolling on new 18” wheels and Red-Line tires. Helping the car get down the road is the upgraded from 3.08 gears to the new 3.55 gear set which provides plenty of torque. Original build sheet, original keys are also included. This could possibly be the most highly optioned Catalina 2+2 sold in 1967. Factory equipment consists of air-conditioning, factory A.M. radio with rear speaker, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, power steering and brakes, power windows, power vent windows, hood mounted tachometer and more.
