This car is going to be your eye catching, show stopping trophy winner.
The most expensive Pontiac, the Bonneville, aside from the now nearly unobtainable convertible, this 1959 Pontiac Bonneville 2-door Hard Top is THE car to have. Pulling rank among its peers, it's the most expensive and most desirable model of them all.
This Bonneville is a rust free 2nd owner California car with fresh paint and a red-themed interior. It still has its original vintage 6-digit California black license plates. I’ve had this car stored for about 28 years and it has been a California resident since leaving the dealers lot.
The car's exterior was painted to a B-grade standard; it is shiny, free of dings, dents, and other major or minor imperfections. The bumpers, letters and trim have been re-chromed. The car has an original 105,545 miles, a 389 4 BBL engine and auto transmission, PS & PB. As you can see, I mounted the later 8 lug Pontiac wheels which required the matching upsized (HD) brakes. I do have the original 1959 Bonneville hubcaps. All glass and seals are good condition.
This scarce classic gem will require finish installing the exterior trim and modest detail, cleaning and interior touch-ups.
Please keep in mind, and do search; this year and model 2 Dr Hard Top consistently price $30,000 and upward. You are certainly considering a rare, hard to find model and significant part of Pontiac’s great heritage. Buyer must arrange for pick-up and/or transport out of state. In state delivery is more flexible.
