Stk#147 1968 Plymouth Fury
In 1968 there were only 2,489 convertibles produced. Purchased from the second owner in 2014 near Richmond Virginia.
Painted Red with a black convertible top, front & rear bumpers are original. The door handles are new. There are new chrome turn signals for the fender, new driver’s side outside mirror, new hood lettering, new trunk letters, all new side lights, new tail light lens, the rest of the emblems have been repainted. Window trim, new rear quarters lower sections both sides. Complete body repainted, new undercoating, new shocks. Good looker and you don’t see many of these at shows.
The interior is Black on bucket seats with center fold down arm rest, seats have been recovered, seat belts front & rear, new door panels, new dash pad, new carpet, new carpeted floor mats, new glove box, dash bezel was repainted, new convertible top switch, new wiper switch, new dimmer roller, new light switch, new chrome seat levers, all new weather stripping, steering wheel is good, arm rest and bases are good, the remote drivers mirror is new. Door handles are good, vent and window cranks are good, sun visors good. Looks good inside.
Powered by a 383 engine that was removed and inspected with a new valve job done. Automatic transmission, new alternator and carburetor. New power steering pump, new electronic ignition and distributor. New belts, New hoses, new windshield washer pump, new reservoir. New under the hood rubber.
