1 of less than 200 made in Plum Crazy - 62,000 original miles, paperwork and pictures of the build before and after. The AAR Cuda was only produced in 1970 with Limited Production, total built was 2,724, 1120 were 4-speeds and 1604 were Automatics. Built during a five week period between March & April.
Painted Plum Crazy Purple with a special textured flat Black finish on grill, hood, tops of fenders and upper door edges and tail panel. A strobe stripe graphic running the length of the car ending at the rear with the Red, White and Blue AAR Crest. The AAR hood is lightweight fiberglass and has a functional air scoop and contained hood pins holding the hood closed at the front. Special front & rear sway bars, heavy duty shocks, heavy duty rear leaf springs, exhaust exit in front of rear tires, AAR Cuda 1st American modern day production vehicle to come with different size tire G60X15 are good in rear and E60X15 Goodyear in front. Beautiful car.
Interior is Black on bucket seats and rear seats are new. Padded dash like new, door panels like new, window cranks like new, door handles like new, remote drivers mirror, dash cluster is new, all gauges like new. Original AM Radio, Woodgrain steering wheel, new sill plates. Carpet new, seat belts and shoulder belts, 4-speed Hurst shifter slap stick. Carpeted floor mats with Cuda in purple are new, package tray new, head liner and sun visors are new. All rubber and felt new. Beautiful inside.
Powered by a 340 cubic inch with 290 hp and 3x2 Holley Carburetors, aluminum intake, power steering, front power disc brakes. Original air cleaner, factory style dual exhaust with stainless tips. Runs and handles great!
