Up for grabs at our Fort Lauderdale showroom is a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda. While this Barracuda has a Fender tag codeD31- BH23-G1B-122854. Which was a 318 230hp 2bbl V8 hooked up to a Auto TorqueFlite in the beginning, but that's far from what this '71 Barracuda is. This Mopar Muscle is packing a 426 Hemi Crate engine w/ a custom belt system, New TTI exhaust, dual core radiator w/2 fans, custom A/C compressor and brackets, battery relocated to the trunk and an upgraded alternator. Routing the Hemi power to the wheels is a 4 speed transmission with a pistol grip shift knob. Rear end is a rebuilt 8 3/4 rear differential out to a set of TOYO Tires complimented by Koni adjustable shocks. Front suspension received new modern A arm to help stabilize this Mopar at modern highway speeds. Paint code on the 1971 Barracuda is the infamous Plum Crazy Purple w/ a little extra metallic pop to it. No expense was spared when painting this '71 Plymouth as the K member was powder coated and the rest of the engine bay received Plum Crazy Purple paint. Stopping you on a dime on all four corners is a Willwood Brake system w/ crossed drilled ad slotted rotors. Interior is just as eye pleasing as the exterior w/ all new leather wrapped Cobra Racing seats. The gauge cluster has been redone w/ leather and purple stitching to match the Plum Crazy Purple powder coated under dash and glove box. New carpet, headliner keep this Mopar smelling new and fresh. If you like to listen to some tunes when cruising around, this JVC stereo w/ Alpine speakers will play all the good driving tunes no problem. Plus w/ a cold blowing A/C system and a set of purple 4-way racing harness is best of both worlds.
