I'm listing this '54 Packard Cavalier that has undergone some very expensive restoration. This is a 4-owner survivor from TX with a TON of extra parts inventory ($2500.00 extra). Be sure to see the before and after photos of this orphan car for its amazing transformation.
Vehicle has FACTORY AC that works. Needs AC dash switch, but otherwise AC system has been restored/charged etc.
The Engine, Transmission, Brakes, Cooling system, Hydraulic Windows have ALLLLLLLLLL been rebuilt and documented.
For reasons unknown, a previous owner replaced engine with a '53 exact match engine that was fully rebuilt before being installed in this car.
Factory AC has been gone thru at considerable expense and only needs an hard to find AC dash switch to work as it should.
Vehicle has been repainted beautifully.
All trim was removed & bumper(s) except for the window trim to assure a good weather seal. There is a spot in the hood where the battery shut-off switch grounded on underside metal causing a small burn mark that will need attention.
4 new Coker wide-white tires.
All 4 Door Trim Panels are new.
All 4 door weatherstrips are new.
Original Headliner is intact and decent for its age.
Owner found/ordered correct seat material from S&S Upholstery ($1100.00) which can be added to this sale if buyer is interested?
Frt seat is in all original good shape. Rear seat has been covered in green vinyl to protect original, but the presumption when removed that original seat cover may also require replacement?
New Carpet and liner are included but not installed.
You just don't see these. All trim/brightwork is intact. It's not perfect, but it's there and looks nice!
This senior owner has poured a small fortune into this car he doesn't expect to recover (just shy of $30k).
