While the Sportster 1200 Custom may seem large by virtue of its displacement but in terms of ergonomics the XL is definitely a middleweight cruiser. In fact, it is only 5 pounds heavier than the more traditional entry level Iron 883 while being no more difficult to ride or handle. Compared to the identically displaced but lower and more compact Forty-Eight Sporty, the XL1200C feels a bit more top-heavy, especially with its more pulled-back bars on tall risers and larger, 4.5-gallon tank but the comfortable ergonomics and notched seat provide an enhanced level of confidence on the road. This particular example was optioned in a gorgeous two-tone Sierra Red Pearl and Brilliant Silver Pearl and has just 16,557 miles. It has been nicely optioned with 18” TCM ape hangers, a LED headlight, a LED taillight, a chrome front end, chrome levers, chrome switch housing covers, forward controls, a passenger back rest, saddlebags, a tool bag, custom pegs & grips, a lay back license plate frame and it sounds just plain nasty ripping through its Screamin’ Eagle performance exhaust. The rear tire was replaced during its last service at 13,768 miles and the front tire was replaced at 16,218 miles. We have priced this beauty as if it were bone stock so if you like what you see you better call us before it’s too late! SOLD
