This is a two owner moped that was purchased by the current owner in 1984. He used it on nice days to commute ¼ of a mile to and from work. About 5 years ago he retired and thus the moped has pretty much sat since. When the current owner brought it to us we needed to replace the petcock (gas shut off) valve, we also replaced the fuel lines and flushed out the gas tank. With a fresh fuel system, a new spark plug and new fluids she fired right up and runs like a top. This is the rare Maxi N which did not come with a speedometer and only came as a rigid (no rear shocks). It is all original and seems to be in perfect mechanical condition. As you can see from the photos the only thing that really hasn’t aged well is the seat. It has the optional wire baskets for cargo and is in its original color of red. You will also see that we are including a 1976-1977 Clymer Publications Puch moped owner service / repair manual. We just listed this rare moped on eBay with a $499.99 opening bid and No Reserve!
