The Overland Automobile Company was founded in 1903 and ceased production in 1926 along the way creating high quality and beautiful cars for the multitudes. In 1922 Overland was competing with Ford, Buick, Chevrolet Dodge and Studebaker and was offered at an affordable price and provided great value. Compared to the over 1 million Model Ts sold in 1922 productions numbers of the Overland Touring Car came in at just 95,410. This was less than any other competitor of the time which makes this one very rare car indeed. Although most cars of the era looked similar they were set apart by certain innovations of the time and the Overland was no exception.Unlike the semi-elliptical springs used in the Model T the Overland offered a 3-Point Triplex cantilever suspension for a more innovative ride and handling.
