The Niro is a subcompact SUV introduced by Kia as a 2017 model. It boasts a hybrid powertrain that powers the front wheels with a 1.6 liter 160 hp inline 4 while a 45 hp electric hybrid system powers the rear wheels. It is mated with a six speed dual clutch transmission and is constructed of high strength lightweight materials that all play in part in boasting fuel ratings of up to 50 miles per gallon. This particular example is a fully loaded Touring model that was finished in Snow White Pearl with a Charcoal leather interior. The base model already comes nicely equipped with features that include power windows with auto up and down, power seat with memory, power mirrors, heated and cooled seats, a heated steering wheel, Smart cruise control, blind spot detection, forward collision warning, lane keeping assist system, as well as UVO eservices. The Touring package adds Android Auto, Apple Car Play, roof rails, LED tail lights, Smart-Key with push button start, folding rear armrest with cup holders, LED daytime running lights, fog lights, power folding outside mirrors, navigation with 8” touch screen and rear view camera, Harman Kardon premium audio, HID headlights, a power sunroof and Autonomous Emergency Braking. It has been tastefully upgraded with Weathertech digital floor liners, 35% tint all the way around, an iDataStart 2-way remote starter and is set off with a gorgeous set of black and polished Black Widow 18” rims. Within the first 100 miles it was undercoated and received a ceramic detail. The oil was changed to Mobil-1 extended performance synthetic oil at 2,972 miles it was last serviced at 35,290 miles.
