The 2015 Street Glide Special takes the standard Project Rushmore upgrades a little further with a Gloss Black inner fairing, Reflex Linked ABS brakes, the Boom Box 6.5 GT touch-screen navigation system and an adjustable lowered rear suspension. The innovative H-D touring chassis is based on a single spar rigid backbone frame and a stout swingarm developed to withstand the demands of long haul riders as well as today’s more powerful engines. Powered by the high output Twin Cam 103” engine and featuring a Batwing fairing with a Splitstream vent to reduce head buffeting, the FLHXS is truly a loaded bagger. This particular example is a one owner bike that has been serviced regularly and was optioned in Charcoal Pearl. It has been nicely upgraded with a genuine H-D King Tour-Pak that is keyed to the ignition and has been upgraded with a Smooth King passenger back rest, 6.5” rear speakers, rear lights, a quick release base, quick release wiring for the lights and speakers, a large organizer for the lid and 3 smaller organizers for the bottom. It has a Stage 1 air cleaner with a Vance & Hines header pipe and it sounds just plain nasty ripping through its RC Components performance exhaust. Other notable upgrades include the matching set of H-D Nostalgia driver and passenger floor boards, pegs, pedals and grips as well as chrome bezels for all of the gauges, speakers and the stereo. You will also find a set of LED auxiliary lamps, LED turn signals that also function as running lights, a Sundowner deep bucket seat, upgraded chrome mirrors and leather protectors for the saddle bag lids. All said and done close to $10,000 worth of options have been added to this beauty but yet we have priced it as if it were bone stock.
