The Harley-Davidson Trike platform brings original equipment design, quality and service to the trike segment. Trike models utilize a frame, chassis structure and geometry engineered specifically to handle the loads generated by the steering forces and weight of a three wheel vehicle. The Tri Glide features ultra comfortable long haul conveniences, a large Twin Cam 103” engine, lengthened and raked front forks with a steering damper, a deluxe tour pak carrier and integrated trunk with 6.5 cubic feet of storage. Loaded with features like an 80 watt Audio System, electronic cruise control and electric reverse drive, the Tri Glide Ultra Classic is ready for the long haul. This particular example was delivered in Vivid Black and was completely repainted last year in House of Kolor’s Candy Apple Red which was mixed with a hint of Mother of Pearl that just sparkles. During the repaint the complete inner fairing and heat deflectors were both painted as well. The stock engine was significantly built up and is producing almost 100 hp. The build consisted of forged 10-1 pistons, rings, wrist pins an two 585 camshafts in addition to upgraded camshaft bearing cages, valve springs, keepers, seals, push rods and a performance clutch. It is fed via a Stage 3 air filter, it is controlled by a Screamin’ Eagle tuner and it sounds just plain nasty ripping through it Vance & Hines true dual performance exhaust. The list of chrome upgrades is very long but some of the highlights include the 19” Avenger front rim with matching rear rims, 13” rotors, inner wheel spacers, axle covers and the completely chrome front end with flamed sliders. Other chrome upgrades you will notice are the inner primary insert, front fender skirt, gear shift linkage, oil cooler cover, rear view mirrors and the nostalgic horn. You will also appreciate the driver backrest and highway pegs, flamed floor boards, grips and pegs, flamed covers for the primary and timer, the amber passing lights, the halogen headlamp, the LED tail lights, the fender bras and the 64 Panhead tank emblems add the finishing touch. All said and done over $12,000 was spent customizing this beauty and it only has 3,336 miles. The 1st owner spent almost $50,000 total on this beauty so you have an opportunity to get all of the upgrades for a fraction of what was originally spent.
