What could make the classic, bare-boned styling of a Super Glide motorcycle look even better? A speedometer mounted to a chrome console, laced wheels, a two-up seat and more chrome gives the Super Glide Custom maximum shine. The FXDX Super Glide Sport was introduced in 1999 and featured improved suspension components and triple disc brakes. It was discontinued in 2003 and reintroduced in 2005 as the Super Glide Custom. In 2006 a new Dyna chassis was introduced along with a new six-speed transmission. In 2007 the Twin Cam 88 engine was replaced by the fuel-injected 1584 cc Twin Cam 96 engine. In 2008 it was upgraded with stainless steel brake lines which enhance both the style and brake feel. This particular example is a 2 owner bike that has been faithfully taken care of since day one and currently has just 22,996 miles. It has been nicely upgraded with a quick release windshield with storage pouch, a quick release passenger back rest with luggage rack, a Mustang gel seat, forward controls as well as Kuryakyn grips and pegs. It also has a Stage I Kit, a Stage I clutch and it sounds nasty ripping through its Vance & Hines Straight Shot performance exhaust. It has been serviced on a regular basis with less than 1,000 miles on the fluids and approximately 4,000 miles on the brakes and tires. Strip it down for the raw feel while cruising through town or throw the backrest and windshield on and hit the open road. Either way the ride is unmistakably Harley. We have priced this bike as if it were bone stock so if you like what you see you better pick up the phone before it’s too late!
