The Fat Boy is a cruiser motorcycle first introduced by Harley Davidson as a 1990 model. This V-Twin Softail was designed by Willie G. Davidson and Louie Netz. It was first seen at Bike Week in Daytona Beach in 1988. The name came from the name of the bombs dropped on Japan during WWII, Fat Man and Little Boy. The Fat Boy’s frame is derived from the 1984 Softail which appears to have a rigid chassis but in fact it has a swing arm with concealed shocks which was designed by Bill Davis in the early 70’s and Patented by Willie G in 1976. This particular example has been nicely customized with fat spoke wheels wrapped in whitewall tires. 22” ape hangers, a chrome swing arm a custom tank, a custom fender, custom lights, saddle bags, tons of chrome and much more. It was just serviced and everything is in proper working order. Based on the current N.A.D.A. values we would appraise this classic at $7,010.00. We are serious about finding it a new home and have priced it accordingly. If you agree you best get in touch with us before it’s too late! SOLD
