The 2014 Street Glide Special takes the standard Project Rushmore upgrades a little further with a Gloss Black inner fairing, Reflex Linked ABS brakes, the Boom Box 6.5 GT touch-screen navigation system and an adjustable lowered rear suspension. The innovative H-D touring chassis is based on a single spar rigid backbone frame and a stout swingarm developed to withstand the demands of long haul riders as well as today’s more powerful engines. Powered by the high output Twin Cam 103” engine and featuring a Batwing fairing with a Splitstream vent to reduce head buffeting, the FLHXS is truly a loaded bagger. This particular example is optioned in Mysterious Red Sunglo and is nicely upgraded with a quick-release passenger backrest, a H-D Badlands seat, matching upgraded H-D grips, highway pegs, shift lever and brake pedal. It also has a Stage I kit with a “Live to Ride” air cleaner cover and it sounds just plain nasty ripping through its Vance & Hines 2 into 1 complete black exhaust with chrome tips. It currently has 30,532 miles and was serviced within the last 2,000 miles at which time it received new tires, brakes and a battery. We have priced it for a quick sale so if you like what you see don’t wait to contact as someone else might beat you to it!
