Although titled as a 1999 this one owner beauty has been completely customized from top to bottom. The finishing touches were just put on it in the spring 2015 and it is in flawless condition. It was purchased new by master H-D mechanic Joey Fortune of Fortune Cycle who is an incredible builder with scrutinizing attention to detail. The build sheet on this beauty is extensive so we will hit the highlights. The heart of this beast is its original 88” Twin Cam that was performance built about 1,500 miles ago and now boasts 1550cc’s and tons of torque. The build consisted of Delkron heads and pistons, Screamin’ Eagle adjustable push rods and ignition module, a S&S Super Carb and 583 easy start cam as well as a Fueling oil pump and cam plate. The original frame was sent out to Chassis Design Co. who stretched the down tubes by 2 inches to add 3 degrees of rake to the neck. It also has a set of HHI 7 degree trees to properly accommodate its 23” front Wheel. The LUXE front wheel, 18” rear wheel, 13” rotor and 70 tooth pulley are all from Performance Machine as is the 6 piston front caliper. Bagger Nation helped extensively with their wicked sounding 2 into 1 Phantom exhaust, raked fairing, stretched steel tank with matching dash, stretched Thicky front fender, extended fork tins and their custom license plate frame with running lights has been frenched into the custom one off steel fender vertically for a little extra pizzazz. H-D provided the quick release chopped tour pak as well as liners for all of the bags, an organizer for the lid of the tour pak and a retractable cord. You will also notice a Dirty Bird windshield and horn cover, Cycle Smith 13” internal apes, Pro One grips and levers, Arlen Ness Rad II mirrors, a Tri-Bar headlight and an Arnott rear air ride with chrome shocks. The H-D CD player is powered by a Rockford Fosgate 300 watt amp and sounds awesome with its H-D saddle bag lids, Hog Tunes mid bass speakers and Hertz horn tweeters. The paint job is a one of a kind from Paint Works with killer tribal graphics and absolutely everything on this bike is chrome, billet or painted. All said and done over $40,000 was spent in just parts to create this sweet custom and that didn’t account for the original cost of the bike or the thousands of man hours that went into this build. Not only that but this is Joey’s personal bike and was built to be ridden.
