Harley used Project Rushmore to talk with riders around the world to determine what changes should be made to enable their touring bikes to become standard in long haul touring comfort and convenience. After getting the input of thousands of riders and road testing for hundreds of thousands of miles Harley made over 100 changes to the 2014 line up of touring bikes. Some of the more notable features include a restyled Batwing fairing with Splitstream vents, Reflex Linked Brakes with ABS, Daymaker LED lighting and the electronic cruise control. This particular example was purchased new on 10/02/13, is a one owner bike and currently has 8,061 miles. It was purchased with the Planned Maintenance program which includes the 1st three services. The 1,000 and 5,000 mile services have been completed and the 10,000 mile service is prepaid. It was ordered with the Optional Boom! Box 6.5 GT Audio System with GPS and touch screen and has been upgraded with XM radio, a H-D garage opener, an intercom system with 2 headsets, a driver back rest, a H-D low profile smoke windshield, heated grips, mirrors with blinkers, highway pegs, billet shift linkage, covers for the passenger floor boards and it sounds just plain nasty ripping through its 4.5” Cobra exhaust. All said and done there are a few thousand dollars worth of upgrades on this bike but we have priced it as if it were bone stock. If you could see yourself cruising the open roads on this beauty you better pick up the phone before it’s too late! For more pictures and a video of the engine visit HotRodsChoppers.com SOLD
