The Harley-Davidson Super Glide is considered to be the first factory custom motorcycle which originated by mating Sportster components, most notably the front end, with the chassis of their larger big twin motorcycles. Production of the FX Super Glide was released in 1971 and has been upgraded several times since its introduction. In 2006, a new Dyna chassis was introduced along with a new six-speed transmission. The current Super Glide model offers a wide variety of front ends and trims and continues to fill the intermediate niche between the smallest and largest Harley models. This particular example came standard with a solo seat but has been upgraded with a passenger pad which is removable. It also has been upgraded with a quick-release passenger back rest, quick-release H-D hard leather saddle bags, it has a H-D storage pouch attached to the backrest as well as matching grips and pegs. It has also been upgraded with a Stage I air filter and it sounds just plain nasty ripping through its Cobra performance exhaust. It was just serviced and is in need of nothing but a new home. We have priced it well below book for a quick sale so you better call before it’s too late! SOLD
