For Sale in our Chicago showroom is a 2009 Custom Hemi-Powered Motorcycle. This is truly a one-of-a-kind motorcycle that was built to show alongside the Twin-Hemi powered 1932 Ford Sedan Delivery that is also available in Chicago. Hemispherical engines have been around for over a century but really gained notoriety in the 1950’s when Chrysler started using the trademark “Hemi” when advertising their engines. Fast forward 60 years and the Hemi is still as popular as ever and being used in many street rods and customs of modern time. This motorcycle is a truly unique one-off custom that was built using a 426 cubic inch Hemi engine. This is not a “Boss Hoss”! The motor was assembled with all new parts including a Chrysler 426 block, Chrysler aluminum heads, Ross pistons, Eagle crank and rods, Holly dual pump carburetor, 2 speed automatic transmission with reverse, a 260 mm rear tire and Brembo brakes. This is a street driven bike and handles beautifully. This particular bike has been the recipient of many awards for engineering and best in show and is ready to collect even more. This is truly a head turner that is sure to stop some traffic. You will not find another one like it or even close to it. Located in our Chicago Showroom, this 2009 Custom Hemi-Powered Motorcycle can be seen including an HD video and pictures at www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
