Powered by a 2 cycle Clinton engine and featuring automatic transmission and seating for two. Pretty much guaranteed that you'll have the only one in your town. Revived here at DRIVEN.co, this vehicle is original, unrestored and comes with both owners and maintenance manuals.
Rarity
Produced for only a few short years, a complete and running Centaur is a rare sight indeed. This is the final iteration of the model line, the FS4 or Folding Scooter 4th generation.
Exterior.
Original plastic body panels show very well for their age and authenticity. Chrome is nice original quality. (The license plate shown was installed in error and is not included)
Engine
Roaring 5 HP Clinton engine runs great. Rebuilt Carburetor. Rope pull start. These engines have quite the following all their own and have been used in chainsaws, go carts and many other applications in the 50’s and 60’s.
Transmission
The transmission operates perfectly.

Fresh service.
Trim
All trim is in survivor driver condition.
Seat
Original seat cover. Folding footpegs for the rear rider.
DMV
Sold on a bill of sale. It has been out of the California DMV system for ages.
