It's 2 tone red and white with red and white interior.
It runs great and is very reliable. This car has been my only car from 2007 to 2011. I drive about 3 times a week and I have put about 10,000 miles on it. I have taken it on 3-4 hour trips with no issues.
Power steering. Power top. Automatic transmission.
Over the past 4 years I have had some work done to the car here and there.
New paintjob
Rebuilt transmission
Rebuilt Carburetor
New tires
Brakes have been done
Cleaned out gas tank
Installed an extra in-line fuel filter
New convertible top and top motor
The engine compartment and undercarriage has been kept clean.
This is not a “show car” and it is not in perfect condition. It is a reliable car, and it is cool looking and unique. The car has a few dings here and there. The car has flaws in the interior. You can drive it all the time and not worry about a few scratches or dings.
Along with the car, I will include the service manuals, parts manual, and all my contacts for parts and service in case you should need anything in the future. I also have service records from me and the previous owner, who rebuilt the engine in 2006.
Here's some general info on this model of Oldsmobile-
The car has its original 215 ci V8 engine. This engine is rated at 185 hp and is widely used by hot rodders in MGs and other small british cars. It is also used in boats and later became the “Rover V8” which was used in Rover vehicles for decades. This engine is loved by hot rodders because it is ALUMINUM and this makes it lighter than a typical engine. This car is around 2800 pounds, so it can go pretty fast with 185 HP and does not need 350hp like a larger car would. If you dropped a bigger engine into it, I'm sure this car would be insanely fast.
