1966 Oldsmobile 442 

1966 Olds F85 Deluxe Hardtop Holiday Coupe with the factory 442 Package. Only 1271 built. One owner from 1966 when new to early 2015 (49 years). Have the original title still in his name, original protecto plate, etc. He was 21 years old and in the Army stationed in Huntsville, Alabama and bought this car new on 8-26-66 from Chas Bentley Olds there in Hunstville, Alabama. Out of the Army and back to Texas in 1969 and owned the car until early 2015. This is a very special car..for this reason...the original owner was personal friends with the man they called Mr. Oldsmobile, Joe Mondello, from Paso Robles, California (legendary Oldsmobile racer, engine builder, etc.) They took a 455 engine out of a 1970 Olds, and Joe Mondello personally built it at a cost of $6900 (then, now would be $15K), and put it in this car. Also installed a heavy duty suspension and anti hop bars. I have all the papers and spec sheets on this work that was done, as well as the original title and protecto plate from the original purchase. Needless to say it runs perfectly and will fly and go thru the gears as smooth as glass. Brand new factory interior was installed in March of 2015 back to factory specs.
