1967 Oldsmobile 442 

1967 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 Holiday Coupe

There are those who claim that it was Oldsmobile that created the first muscle car when it stuffed its hot new full size Rocket V-8 into its midsize model to create the Olds 88 and Super 88 series back in 1949. But it was not until 1964 that Oldsmobile would return to the concept with the 4-4-2. For 1967, the 4-4-2 model’s styling and base engine remained the same, but the once optional automatic three-speed Turbo-Hydramatic became standard, replacing the two-speed Jetaway automatic. This very clean offering is a Texas car with some great options. Being from the southwest, it has air conditioning, and is also fitted with power steering, power brakes a black vinyl interior with a vary rarely seen power bench front seat; along with an AM push-button radio and a power antenna. The 400 V-8 is rated at a powerful 350 horsepower. This 442 is in turn key condition in every respect, everything works in this vehicle. Floors are original and very solid. You can run a magnet down low, there is no bad news here whatsoever! This 442 is in exceptional condition and it’s very rare to see one configured the same as this one. SOLD
