1965 Mercury Monterey Marauder

This Mercury is really good shape considering that it has sat for several decades and is all original. It has less than 26,000 original miles. With the exception of a hole in the drivers seat, the upholstery is in perfect condition. The body is dent free though there appears to be a dented passenger side tail light that allowed water leakage into the trunk. Paint, as expected, is faded, but otherwise can be easily rubbed out. Engine runs great, starts and drives very nice. Brakes have been inspected and no issues. There is significant rust in the truck and driver side passenger floor board, but otherwise no other rust issues.
The owner bought the care in 1974 to restore with his son, but when Vietnam vet son passed away the car sat and was lightly used through the years until I bought it in 2016.
