1952 Mercury Monterey Convertible

This '52 Mercury was displayed in a museum for many years and has now been refurbished mechanically and is ready to be shown and enjoyed. A noteworthy addition to any collection. First year for the Monterey convertible 255 CI Mercury flathead V-8. Merc-O-Matic automatic transmission, In-dash clock and push button radio, Chrome windshield frame and beltline trim Front and rear bumper guards. Front driving lights, Classic full size wheel covers, Wide Whitewall tires. Lakewood Green and Green top. Boot Green leather interior and White inserts, Aircraft-style lever controls for heater/defroster and ventilation controls. 110 MPH speedometer with temperature, fuel, oil and battery gauges.

New model Monterey part of Ford's company-wide redesign project. The Monterey became its own model in 1952 one year after its introduction with a taller, more squared shape than the 1949-51 Fords and Mercurys. This was the most expensive Monterey at $2,370. Tasteful styling features full width front grille, quarter panel bright trim, imitation front and body side intake grilles. SOLD
