1959 Mercury Monterey 

1959 Mercury Monterey Convertible Project Car $15,200 OBO Dunlap, TN

This 1959 Mercury Monterey convertible is a very interesting restoration project with much of the work and expense already taken care of. With only 4,426 Monterey Convertibles made in 1959, this will be a very rare and desirable car when finished.

The body work is finished and in primer and underneath the car only requires removal of small amount of surface rust in order to paint. The wheels have already been powder coated with new tires already mounted on them. There are 6 very nice original hubcaps that accompany the wheels and new rubber.

The 383 C.I engine is freshly rebuilt as well as the transmission. The transmission torque converter is new also. The carburetor is new in box as well as many other new parts. Some parts are new and others NOS, new bright work, trim is in good condition and seats are nice and ready for new upholstery.
