1962 Mercury Meteor 

I have an all original Mercury with the exception that it was painted once a slightly darker blue from the original. The liner, upholstery, and rubber seals around all the windows which are still soft and flexible, are in great condition as it has always been a garage kept vehicle.
I am selling because I do not have the time to put into keeping it in top shape nor time to take it to shows and I do not want this classic to deteriorate after the many years of care it has received.
I am hoping to put this jewel into the care of one who has the time to enjoy it & care for it.
This make and model and color was my first car that I owned back in 1976. I bought this one 3 years ago in hopes of driving it regularly but realized that after 52 years, the upholstery is very fragile and should be driven for shows and some enjoyment only in order to keep it in original condition.

6/16/14 UPDATE: I'm sorry but a sheet of drywall fell from my garage ceiling and made scratches on the hood and a small dent above the windshield. I recently added these pictures to reflect this unfortunate event & adjusted the sales price by $1400.
