For sale here is my made for the US market (left hand drive) 1970, W109 platform, Mercedes Benz 300 SEL 3.5, with only 93,098 original miles. I believe Mercedes only imported this particular model into the US for a single year. This car is in virtually excellent, un-restored condition. The engine is an aluminum alloy V8 and the car is equipped with factory air conditioning (was cooling, just stopped), power steering, power windows, power antenna (not working), dual-level air suspension (rebuilt sometime around 2001), Zebrano wood interior with red leather seating, four speed automatic transmission on the floor, etc. etc. The Becker radio is missing and a more modern AM/FM stereo with tape-deck has taken its place. All chrome is in excellent condition. The interior and all leather are in excellent condition. All body work and undercarriage are in excellent condition save for just underneath the lower chrome accent piece on the driver’s side quarter-panel (just a little more than surface rust). I do not mean that this Saloon car is in mint condition. It has a few chips in the paint here and there, two or three tiny dents and a very little surface rust where the paint has worn on the inside lips of the fenders or has been chipped by a pebble thrown by a tire, etc. The car was buffed at some point before I purchased it but they did not buff the fenders (except for one section on the drivers side) but buffed everything else as the fenders are still dull and I can see where they stopped buffing at strategic points on the fenders. A picture is worth a thousand words and I have photos of everything and would be happy to email them to you or, better yet, come and visit her in person! Please call me with questions (603) 714-9192 or email me at bruce@thecobbs.com Thank-you for looking!SOLD
