The much revered Ponton. This example is fully un-restored, original paint and interior. At 67K miles it is barely broken-in. Always registered (as an antique) and use sparingly over the past few years, it is ready for a new appreciative home. The paint is getting weak and there are some water-spotting problems that I am afraid to try and fix. Mechanically it runs smoothly, no leaks, clean motor compartment. The most drastic modification made has been to install a TimeValve Stainless Steel exhaust system. The interior is white leather, a little cracked looking but nothing cracked all the way through. A previous owner installed a radio but did not wreck the dash to do it. The car comes with full workshop manuals (paper - the one's with the blue covers!), original owner's manual, original keys and some early service records. Brakes were recently worked on and are fine now. Other recent work, radiator flush and fill (MB Coolant), oil and filter change, grease job, transmission fluid replaced, fuel tank drained and a new screen filter installed, brake fluid flush (DOT3). The automobile will come with some useful spares including the original closed top air cleaner. This is a well loved car, owned by me, the third owner, for the past 9 years or so. All glass is good; rubber gaskets for the windows are good. NO RUST. The car is parked over a waterproof tarp during the off season. The car has never been rusted and repaired. If originality is important to you, this is the right Ponton. Restoring one would cost much more than the asking price. I can provide more photos on request. Even the clock works occasionally.SOLD
