I have for sale a 1969 Mercedes Benz 220D. This vehicle has a clean title and I am the second owner. The vehicle was not driven all last year or this year. I have it stored in an insulated storage container, this car has never seen snow since I have owned it. I purchased it from a family member, it belonged to a family member of his. I purchased it in Late 2006 and only drove it a handful of times. The farthest trip that I have taken it was to Scranton from the storage place, it is about 16 miles one way. The motor is strong and the car will start right up. Everything but the radio and the clock work in the car. The radio is in the correct location but does not function. I have wired another radio in the back of the glove box. The clock just needs someone with experience to tinker with it, I know that it works, it just wont stay running. The exterior is called dunkelgreen with the tan bamboo color interior. It has an automatic shift that shift flawlessly. The car does not have power steering or A/C. I have the original bill of sale from the MB dealer in NJ. I changed the oil 2 springs ago and there could not have been 300 miles since then, and the coolant as well. I have only had to repair and and replace a few items, normal wear and tear, water pump, belts, vacuum seals, exhaust from the down pipe back, tires, brake pads and one caliper. I went over this car from head to toe making sure that everything was good in and out. The doors close perfectly, as do the hood and the trunk. It does have a full size spare in the trunk as well. Last year I had the injection pump cleaned and serviced. Besides being grossly underpowered (66HP from the factory) this car runs and drives like a Mercedes Benz. It is a nice cruiser.

The reason I am offering this car is that I don't want it anymore. I haven't driven it at all this year or last, I start it from time to time to charge the battery and make sure everything is running correctly. If you want to see it or drive it, give me a call, 570-766-7123, my name is Rob and I am available after 5 during the week and if the weather is nice, might want to take a ride to you.
