EXTREMELY RARE! 1949 MG TC in excellent condition, ready to drive with no mechanical issues whatsoever. Everything works on this car, including all of the gauges which is rare, and whereas most if not all MG TC's have steering issues, such as a lot of play in the steering wheel making it difficult to control and handle, the steering on this TC has been upgraded to almost power steering level and has no play in the steering at all, handles and steers beautifully, making it easy to drive and totally unique among other TC's that don't have this upgrade. Further, it is known among British sports cars enthusiasts that some TC's are just naturally better handling and running than others, and this particular TC is exceptional in that respect as well. It's just one of those TC's that runs and handles beautifully. Combining that with its being exactly the right color, the color a classic English sports car should be, British Racing Green, it also has the benefit of a beautiful tan leather interior which is also rare as most British Racing Green TC's have a black interior. Combine that with a tan top that matches the interior, along with new side curtains and new frames, I would put this TC alongside any other TC for comparison. This is one of the best examples of a TC you'll find anywhere, has only 13,183 miles on the odometer since restoration, and just installed shoulder harness seat belts for safety. It is known that 1949 was the best year for TC’s as it was the last year they were built, so if you want no problems, a car that you can just get in and drive, with everything working, with upgraded steering, the right color combination, then email me, Bill, at wcriead@gmail.com (private party, Los Angeles) and I'll get right back to you.
