This is a 1965 MGB (65GHN3L48510) with less than 5000 miles on a complete nut/bolt restoration. Our aim was not for a show car – although it has won awards – but a performance driver.
The engine is balanced with flat pistons, a performance street cam, hardened valves and seats, dual valve springs, a header and Peco exhaust and electronic ignition.
Everything else was new or rebuilt including the clutch, transmission and rear end. The brakes and suspension are new with the addition of poly suspension bushings, bigger front sway bar and a rear sway bar. The tires are Michelin and the wheels are true knock-off aluminum spokes.
The car was in California when I got it and had no rust. The paint is excellent and shows only minor road use signs.
There are some more pictures attached. I also have a video taken while we rebuilt the car, and I’ll include it with the car.
The price on the car is $16,900. I have all the parts receipts which I’ll give up with the car. It is located in New Bern, NC, This was the fifth British restoration I have done including an H Production Bug-Eye and several Healeys
Thank you for your interest,
